機會難得，快來參加是次研討會，認識在紫禁城內的重建故事！作為乾隆皇帝興建的私人花園，建福宮花園建於1742年，卻在1923年與旁邊的中正殿一同被一場離奇大火焚毀，直至陳啟宗先生和其中國文物保護基金會與故宮博物院致力修復，方在1990年代中重建天日，重新進入公眾視野。
在是次討論中，你不但能目睹陳先生推出其新書——《建福宮: 在紫禁城重建一座花園》，其中記錄建福宮花園的重建過程，更能從第一身視角聆聽陳先生及其基金會的重建這非凡的傳統中國建築。各位中國文化遺產的愛好者，記得預留時間出席喇！
Join us in a talk to take you through a journey of reconstruction within the Forbidden City! The Jianfu Palace Garden (JPG, 「建福宮花園」), a private retreat inside the Palace built by Qianlong Emperor, was destroyed mysteriously by a fire in 1923. It was not until Ronnie C. Chan and his China Heritage Fund (CHF)’s endeavour to preserve and reconstruct it in the mid-1990s, alongside the Palace Museum, did it manage to enter the public's eye again. CHF also restored the neighboring Hall of Rectitude （「中正殿」）that was also lost in the same ruinous fire.
In this Talk, not only will you be witnessing the debut of the new Traditional Chinese edition of the book 《建福宮: 在紫禁城重建一座花園》that chronicled the JPG journey’s history and reconstruction, you will also be able to listen first-hand the story of CHF’s decades of endeavour in reconstructing this timeless piece of traditional Chinese architecture. 講者介紹 - 陳啟宗先生
陳啟宗先生是恒隆集團有限公司及其附屬公司恒隆地產有限公司之董事長，兩者均在香港上市。恒隆從1992年擴展人至中國內地，在多個重點一線和二線城市，發展、持有和管理世界級大型商業群項目。陳氏為香港中國文物保護基金會創辦人兼會長，該基金會致力保護中國具有歷史意義的文物建築。他亦是北京故宮文物保護基金會發起人及理事，也曾出任中國發展研究基金會理事會副會長及顧問。陳氏亦為美國人文與科學院院士、亞洲協會( 美國紐約 ) 榮休主席及其香港中心主席，和亞洲公益事業研究中心聯合創辦人及會長。他也擔任或曾任多個智庫及大學之理事會或顧問委員會成員,包括彼得森國際經濟研究所 ( 美國華府) 、世界經濟論壇(瑞士)、東西中心 ( 美國夏威夷)、太平洋國際政策協會 ( 美國洛杉磯 ) 、艾森豪威爾交流計劃 ( 美國費城 ) 、曼斯菲爾德基金 ( 美國華府 ) 、美國南加州大學、印度商學院、香港科技大學、美國耶魯大學、清華大學和復旦大學等。
講者介紹 - 丘筱銘女士
丘筱銘女士是香港中國文物保護基金會項目總監，基金會首項工程是2000年重建北京紫葵城建福宮花園。該項目是故宮博物院自20世紀初以來的首項大規模古建築重建，也是故宮博物院第一次同意參與由私人機構全程出資的合作工程。建福宮花園重建後，丘筱銘代表基金會再次和故宮合作第二項古建工程 一 2012年完成的中正殿重建。基金會目前與故宮繼續合作進行養心殿研究性保護工作，該項目將於2024年完成。在超過20年致力於振興中國傳統建築藝術的職業生涯中，丘筱銘一直與古建八作工匠們以及四代故宮博物院領導緊密合作。丘畢業於香港瑪利諾書院並持有史丹福大學學士和碩士學位。
講者介紹 - 陳婉瑩教授
陳婉瑩教授是資深記者、編輯、新聞和傳媒教授，及香港大學新聞及傳播研究中心前總監。1970畢業於香港大學，為社會科學院第一屆畢業生，時為學生運動領袖，港大學生報《學苑》總編輯。在紐約是從事新聞工作20年，1995年獲尼曼獎學金在哈佛大學進修。1997年，獲國際新聞自由獎。1998 年回港受聘爲香港大學新聞學教授，創辦新聞及傳媒研究中心及碩士課程，首創港大新聞學課程。回港就任前，她曾任美國哥倫比亞大學新聞研究院客座教授、紐約市自由論壇傳媒研究中心學者。
